From five to half six at the Oh Yeah Music Centre you can indulge yourself in immersive discussion with a panel of DJ’s and promoters as they discuss the rise of the all female line up and its impact on both industrial and social issues.

The discussion will look to pose intriguing questions such as if all female line ups are helping women in the industry at large and what we truly think of them. A range of experienced music executives, both local and from across the sea, will be a part of an open panel discussion were the audience can get stuck in. Making up the panel will be Twitch co-founder Phil Lucas, Founder and DJ of Manchester’s Meat Free Alice Woods, GIRL founders Marion Hawkes and Claire Hall and Noise Manifesto founder Paula Temple.

The talk follows an educational and thought provoking discussion on women in electronic music that took place at AVA Festival earlier in the year, and will be moderated by the festivals founder and Belfast Lead for SheSaid.So Sarah McBriar.

Following the discussion will be a DJ set from GIRL, where you can experience the vast musical knowledge of Marion Hawkes and Claire Hall on the ground floor of the Oh Yeah Music Centre. The panel itself will be hosted on the AVA Studio on Level One.
