MIX417: MXGN

Liverpool DJ & producer MXGN brings a new mix to our series spanning techno, hard dance, acid, and reverse bass, featuring a tracklist that touches multiple strands of harder-edged club music through selections from producers such as FJAAK, Brennan Heart, and Will Atkinson.

No Mercy, Filth On Acid, HEKATE, and Teletech are some of the labels responsible for his existing body of work, with a recent return to the latter for his double-sided ‘Fk This Track’ EP, which includes the title track alongside ‘The Principle’.

His contribution to MIX417 enables a similar sound, with heavy drum programming and relentless low end frequencies laying a solid foundation for pitched up vocal samples and layered synth melodies to move things forwards.
