When you ask someone to think of a synth manufacturer, there’s a good chance Moog will be the first thing off their tongue. Number six on our list see’s Moog’s introduction to the mobile synth market, the Animoog.
Short for Anisoptroic Synth Engine, the plugin brings the classic Moog ping pong delay and four pole filter effects, as well as MIDI In so you can control it via a DAW or external instrumental.
In-app expansion pack purchases are also available priced at £2.99 to £4.99.
The Good:
- Classic Moog effects
- Very flexible sound
- MIDI In
The Bad:
- Too expensive for some users
- Expansions are also pricey
