Starting out our top ten is the minimalistic and some-what ‘toyish’, Tonepad. Developed by Loftlab, Tonepad won’t have you creating complex arrangements anytime soon, but it’s fun and extremely easy to use interface gives you the ability to whip up interesting arp rhythms in minutes via it’s 16×16 matrix.
Disappointingly it’s been a while since Tonepad has seen an update and we would have loved to access multiple instruments, regardless it’s a quick on-the-fly tool, oh and it’s also free!
