Korg’s Kaoss range has been implemented by massive names like Beardyman, Boyinaband and James Zabiela to name a few, and the company has kept things current with an iOS edition of their well received Kaossilator.
The app offers users the ability to use in the box loops and instruments to create unique arrangements. With drums, chords, bass and SFX at hand it’s a simple to use plugin that utilises audio effects brilliantly.
You can also control tempo, key range, bar and loop length and using Korg’s trademark XY touchpad, add variation to different sounds.
The Good:
- Small file size
- Lots of control
The Bad:
- Expensive
- No update in the past 12 months
