Six great drum machines for under £400
4. Drum 2
Nord (£359)
The drum 2’s solid build and compact size, combined with its ability to naturally allow creativity to flow makes it an extremely unique unit. Each drum sound is natural and Nord combines both subtractive and FM synthesis.
Each drum is made up of three parts, tone, noise and click. These features allow for total control of the transient and many variations can be achieved.
Adding to this, Nord have included effects, including drive and crush which add even more sonic reach, giving your sound some extra dirt while also making things more fun.
