40 Questions: Alan Fitzpatrick

40 Questions: Alan Fitzpatrick

Alan Fitzpatrick’s contributions to the British techno scene are unparalleled, and he stands alongside even the most elite names on the international club circuit, though the incredible level of success he now enjoys, didn’t come overnight.

Over the past 15 or so years, Fitzpatrick’s studio productions have come on labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, FFRR, Circus Recordings, and Hot Creations, so it’s no surprise that he commands such a high level of respect from his fans.

As well as being a reputable DJ and producer, he has also captained his We Are The Brave imprint since 2016, where he has welcomed music from the likes of Skream, Anfisa Letyago, Slam, Maya Jane Coles, Sasha, and CamelPhat.

The latest offering to come from his Southampton-based studio finds him step back from the dimly lit shadows of the techno world, and join the Anjuna family with a melodic club track which features a top line vocal from Lawrence Hart, who is most known for his work alongside George FitzGerald.

We welcome Alan to our own 40 Questions series this week, where he mentions everything from Christmas socks and reality TV, to eating snails, and Jason Statham. Get the full feature below.
