UMEK & Matteo Vitanza collab on Moby inspired ‘Trouble So Hard’

UMEK & Matteo Vitanza collaborate on Moby inspired techno track, 'Trouble So Hard

UMEK and Matteo Vitanza have decided to collaborate for new peak time track ‘Trouble So Hard’, which pays homage to Moby’s timeless ‘Natural Blues.’

Anyone familiar with ‘Natural Blues’ will instantly recognise the heartfelt tones of Vera Hall, a blues artist from America who sings on the track. Her original version is from 1937, so UMEK and Matteo Vitanza have brought it up to date with a modern techno backing track.

Long standing fans of techno need little introduction to UMEK and his legacy of highly influential releases that have helped define techno over the past couple of decades. This release adds to his already impressive resume which includes productions such as ‘Gatex’ and ‘Cryptic Speech’.

Matteo Vitanza is a new kid on the block, who has been turning heads with his releases on labels like Codex, Legend, and Respekt Recordings. This collaboration with UMEK marks his 1605 debut and signifies that he could also release some solo productions on the label.

UMEK & Matteo Vitanza – Trouble So Hard is out now on 1605.
