Lionshake drops new melodic techno release ‘The Exit’

Lionshake is a Belgian artist who has been making waves in the melodic techno scene thanks to his new release titled ‘The Exit’.

It’s a solo track that’s so far picked up support from artists ranging from BOg, to Öona Dahl, and it’s a track that’s inspired by the likes of Tale Of Us and ARTBAT.

This is only Lionshake’s fourth official release, and it’s a standout work that gets us hyped to hear more from the emerging talent who has so far focused all his output towards his own label, YAW Records.

Opening with fizzling hi-hats and electric pad sounds, the short percussion section makes way for an early breakdown that introduces the throbbing bassline. Building suspense, it unfolds to introduce the different percussive elements as it moves towards the main breakdown.

As the percussion subsides, the track strips down to draw focus to the bassline, as more synths add to the atmosphere that’s created by this piece of music.
