Brandeaux has been making waves in Adelaide’s electronic music scene since the age of 18. The 21 year old holds down a residency at the Rocket Bar & Rooftop and has went on to represent the club at a host of festivals including Falls Festival and Splendour In The Grass. 2016 has proven to be a great year for the producer; main support slots have been clocked for Andras Fox, Roland Tings and Alba as he radiates his disco influenced sound.
Brandeaux has taken on remixing duties of OKRAA’s ‘Mineral’ (OKRAA was named as one of THUMP’s top fifteen producers from Columbia). Providing a warm, uplifting rendition of the original.
Tribal percussion kicks things off whilst warm, intriguing sounds create a pleasurable atmosphere. The introduction of altered vocals gives the track a distinctive age. It sounds like the man may be speaking in tongues. Comforting synths create a laid back vibe as disco and house takes the track down a funkier route.
