Hailing from Windsor, Ontario (the same city as pioneer Richie Hawtin), Marc Houle has a long and fruitful career as both a live act and a producer. His work has seen releases on the undergrounds top labels, with Hot Creations, Minus, Get Physical and Dirtybird all receiving the Houle Stamp.
The production that brings our attention to Marc today is his 2014 gem ‘Gimme Gimme’. Released on his own Items & Things label that he runs alongside fellow trendsetters Magda and Troy Pierce.
We have a download of Colombian artist Lumber Dean’s effort on his remix for Gimme Gimme. It’s a gentle offering of deep and tech house with a melodic energy in the lows and friendly vocals that sit nicely in the mix.
