Fresh Picks: Fiona Kraft

DJ, producer, and label boss Fiona Kraft has curated the latest edition of our Fresh Picks series, highlighting a selection of tracks currently shaping her DJ sets.

The feature includes music from DJ Koze, Rocco Rodamaal, Baron (FR), and Samkhon, spanning a range that covers deep and melodic house.

She picks from labels such as Pampa Records, AXEPT, Kitsuné, and her own Non Merci Music imprint, where she has exclusively released her original productions since its launch in 2024.

“This is a new project from Jabe with other two super talented guys, it’s two frenchmen and a Danish guy, they all live in Bangkok where they started this new project. I love their energy, and I’ve been playing this one for a while now. To me it’s like a tester for the crowd, when I see how they shift I know if I need to push them up or they need some more drive before I lean on seriously.”

DJ Koze – Spiralen

“The unique ability of this man to create music that makes you feel good is just crazy! It’s always smart music. I recently played this track when I was close to ending my set but I ended up playing two additional hours. I love how much space for mixing this record gives me. It’s hypnotic.”

Ivan Masa & LVDOVICA – Silence

“I love Ivan’s productions a lot. I also did a remix of one of his tracks. His music has insane energy. Here he is joining forces with LVDOVICA and this is a lovely track that I’ve played at almost every show over the past couple of weeks. Great release.”

Fiona Kraft ft. LOV – Dreams (Rocco Rodamaal Remix)

“I’ve been waiting to release this remix that my dear friend Rocco Rodamaal did of mine and LOV’s song ‘Dreams’. The original is a very personal piece of music that I never could have imagined would have a second life and become such a progressive house banger. This is a classic already. So powerful, and I’m so happy to have Rocco’s legendary touch on this record.”

Didier Sinclair & Baron (FR) – Lovely Flight

“Baron did an amazing job with this one. This version really shines a light on the dancefloor. When I listen to it, it makes me feel like I just arrived at a party on some terrace and Solomun is in his 22nd hour of the set, not letting a single dancer go home. That’s the image I have in my head when I play it.”

Fiona Kraft – ONYVA

“This is the last track I did. I started experimenting with my creative workflow. Since I struggle with content, I thought maybe I could do these little jams in my studio with live looping, where I record everything and, if people like it, I finish the song. The one-minute reel got a lot of views and positive feedback, so I decided to finish this one and put it out. It was a very fun little experiment.”
