So who is Vijay and Sofia?

We are a couple in life and behind the decks. We live in Belgium and started our duet at the end of 2012. For Vijay the music is a full time job, and Sofia is tattooist.

Your Le Jardin EP recently came out on Dusted Decks, can you reveal the inspiration behind the original single and how you choose the remixers?

About “Le Jardin”, we have a big Exclusive News for you, the EP is now signed on TONSPIEL with the Original, the Pingpong Remix, the Compact Grey & Julian Wassermann Remix and an exclusive Pingpong Radio Mix.

The EP is going to be released 9th March and later it will feature an exclusive remix by Stefan Dabruck which will be out on Big Beat Records. We did not choose the remixers, they contacted us to know if they could remix it because they loved the original.

One thing you both want to do more in 2015?

For 2015, we want more gigs, more official remixes and collabs with great artists, and we want to share our passion with lots of people all around the world.

We have twins girls, they are 8 years old.

Your Kiesza and Ben Howard remix recently passed 1,500,000 plays on SoundCloud, where did the idea come to remix the cover, rather than the original?

We do not like the original as much and everyone had already remixed it. But when we heard the cover from Ben, we immediately knew that it would be a good remix with our Deep-House touch.

One artist you expect to really takeover in 2015?

We don’t know yet what will happen in 2015. But for our remixes, we choose a track and not an artist and we hope to work on more official remixes in 2015.

Can you reveal any plans you might have for the future?

We are working on several remixes from international artists and on 3 Tours (India, Brasil, US). Also maybe a Live Act for 2016.
