Juliet Fox has entered one of the busiest periods of her career, balancing releases on labels including Armada Music and Black Hole Recordings with the growth of her own TREGAMBE imprint and her recently launched podcast, The Mother Frequency.
Her latest single, ‘Phases Of You’, continues a run of solo releases on TREGAMBE, arriving ahead of an extensive summer schedule that includes appearances at Awakenings, Tomorrowland, and Resistance.
We caught up with the Australian artist to discuss the inspiration behind her new track, balancing motherhood with touring, the current direction of TREGAMBE, and the vision for The Mother Frequency.
How has 2026 been for Juliet Fox so far?
It’s been a very exciting, busy year, but a different kind of busy. I’ve been balancing motherhood with my touring schedule which kicked off in Australia playing some of the best festivals like Dreamstate. I’ve done some amazing B2Bs with Lee Ann Roberts, Clara Cuvé, Joyhauser, and Amber Broos, and had debuts at Fabrik Madrid and UNVRS in Ibiza. On the music front, I’ve introduced my Technopatra series, and now I’m heading into summer festivals with my third single out just in time for my Awakenings set.
You’re about to release your latest track ‘Phases Of You’, how did this one come together in the studio?
With this track I wanted to represent the different stages of life I’ve gone through recently: healing, self-discovery, and exploring different versions of myself. It also reflects the cycles of the moon, and the cycles we go through monthly and yearly. The main hook uses my own vocal, and I wanted it to feel like a peak-time track that people could really play out. It’s got a dark, night time energy to it.
The last three releases on TREGAMBE have been singles from yourself, is that something deliberate you planned ahead of time?
Absolutely. This year I closed the label off to other artists because I wanted to focus on my own releases. With this new series, I wanted it to be an art project centered on myself and my sound where each track shows a different style that represents who I am now and who I’ve been throughout my years playing techno. There will be three more tracks to follow later this year.
Any other producers on the label in the coming months?
After years of working with exciting new producers, I wanted to refocus the story on myself for now. That said, I’m still collaborating with other producers on other labels. Amber Broos, Caravel, and a few other exciting features to come.
Which other labels can we expect you on in the near future?
I’ve got releases scheduled on Tomorrowland Music and Armada, and another one still to come that I’m particularly excited about!
The Mother Frequency, what’s your goal with launching a podcast? And how have you found the experience upto now?
I wanted to create a platform where mothers in the electronic music industry could talk openly with each other and share their experiences so other women in the industry who might be thinking about having children themselves could hear our stories and see that it’s possible. It’s been incredible so far. We’ve released two episodes, which I’ve also been inspired hearing the guests journeys and speaking with them directly.
Anything else on the horizon you want to share?
We’re deep into a sweltering summer already, I’ve got some exciting shows to come: Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Amnesia, CNNCT, and Resistance, before some big touring plans later this year. My release schedule is almost all but done, which is exciting and I’m really putting a lot of energy and creativity into the podcast as I see the power it has and the interest it has gained.
