Rating: 8.5

When he isn’t playing to massive crowds on some of the worlds best dancefloors or releasing his tunes on Beyer’s Drumcode or Vath’s Cocoon, UK born, Frankfurt am Main based Mark Reeve is pursuing the role of label boss with his own SubVision imprint.

Reeve has brought us music from Victor Ruiz, Luca Gaeta, Luigi Madonna, Spektre, Harvey McKay and more on the label, and now he returns as a producer himself to roll out a six tracker of all original sounds.

Titled Claustrophobic EP, the tracks are simply titled Part.1, Part.2, Part.3, Part.4, Part.5 and Part.6, we run a premiere for Part.2. It’s a frightening combination of what could be the sonic output from a metalworks shop and a chilling soundtrack of the next paranormal blockbuster, thrown together with some slamming techno drums of course.

Mark Reeve’s Claustrophobic EP is available now on SubVision.
