Premiere: Better Lost Than Stupid – Inside (Andres Campo On A Trip Remix)

EI8HT Records co-founder Andres Campo returns to his label this week for a brand new one-off remix for electronic trio Better Lost Than Stupid.

Made up of Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace, and Matthias Tanzman, the Better Lost Than Stupid project has seen releases come via Skint Records, and Bedrock Records in the past..

The remix in question finds Andres deliver an impressive edit of their ‘Inside’ original, which previously dropped on their Wild Slide LP with Skint back in 2019.

His version brings a generous combination of energetic and rhythmic club sounds, with big kick drums, fizzling hats, and hypnotic vocal hooks coming together. Listen to the track in full below.

Since co-founding EI8HT with British veteran Eats Everything in 2019, Andres has welcomed music from names like Felix Da Housecat, Truncate, Black Girl / White Girl, and Carlo Lio to the label, and this remix marks a new chapter for the imprint.

EI8HT+ is a new sub-label which will be responsible for any special projects or bespoke remixes that come through the EI8HT camp, speaking on the project, Andres added “EI8HT+ is a door, a necessary door, where Dan (Eats Everything) and I can give way to other musical projects and concerns that are a bit far from EI8HT’s main vibe, a place with no tags, but a door to creativity.”
