Premiere: 9OASES – Streetpoet
German club music gets its time in the sun this week as Cologne duo 9OASES make their debut on Kompakt, a label responsible for releases from star players such as GusGus, Gui Boratto, Rex The Dog, and Joyce Muniz.
Their inaugural appearance on the label brings three brand new productions, with their ‘Streetpoet’ and ‘New Ballad’ originals being met with a remix from Swedish producer Axel Boman.
We premiere the opening title track – ‘Streetpoet’ – a deep melodic bass track with an afro-tinge that pushes shimmering synth notes and a resonance-heavy low end.
9OASES – Streetpoet EP is out now on Kompakt.
