Anyone synonymous with melodic, electronic music will instantly know the name John Digweed, and that his label Bedrock is equally prolific with a rich history of genre defining releases.
2018 is now upon us and kick starting a new year of music Bedrock has signed a four track release from Canadian artist Shelley Johannson, who prior to this release had been exclusive to Sian’s label Octopus.
Shelley Johannson’s release is a bit tougher than some might expect from Bedrock, but the label has always been open minded with its music policy, and it still has subtle touches of the melodic elements that diehard fans have come to love and expect.
Following this EP, other Bedrock releases due out in early 2018 include music from the likes of Monkey Safari, Nick Muir, Musumeci and Marst, so it’s already shaping into another big year for John Digweed’s iconic imprint.
