UK producer Joe Danvers has been catching the eye of many within the world of electronic music under his Danvers alias. The sound he radiates is described by the artist himself as rough and messy and his creative approach to music is visible throughout his work.

EP’s have been released on FINA and WotNot, heightening interest. Danvers next project comes in the form of an EP on Ben Gomori’s Monologues Recordings. It’s called They Don’t Program Themselves, and it’s already receiving support from some noteworthy names such as Laurent Garnier and Maya Jane Coles.

The EP consists of three original productions from Danvers. The final track takes its name from the title of the concept. Danvers broken jazz/rhythm influence is evident from the get go. Warm, playful synths ignite a laid back groove whilst the introduction of the bass acts as your guide. The artist’s creative use of samples becomes evident around the half way mark as a soulful voice speaks about the creation of sound.

They Don’t Program Themselves is out on Monologues Recordings on November 7th.
