Alex Parkin – Nasty Thing EP (RKS)

RKS is back with another hard hitting release. The “Nasty Thing EP” comes courtesy of Birmingham based producer/DJ Alex Parkin.

Already established within the Midlands vibrant underground scene as a DJ, Alex Parkin now carries his high energy into this 3 track bundle sure to set off any dance floor.

The EP has a classic old school house and garage feel to it. A punchy 4×4 back bone with garage style percussive swing.

Also a collaboration with Chris Lorenzo who is undoubtedly smashing it with collaborations with Hannah Wants and under his duo with Kane – Cause & Affect.

Every track has its own identity but still has Parkin’s stamp on it with cool synth stabs before breaking down and unleashing into more of a dark bass fuelled banger that switches between 808 style drum patterns and straight four to the floor rhythms.
