Premiere: Raxon – Formulate

Today we bring to you the pulsating, melodic vibes of Barcelona based producer Ahmed Raxon, courtesy of Sincopat. The label was founded in 2010 by Spanish producer AFFKT and his close friend Alberto Sola and has went on to radiate an ambient sound fused with a forward thinking approach to house music.

Raxon burst onto the scene when he crafted a remix of Nick Curly’s ‘Underground’ as part of a Beatport remix competition, which he went on to win. Since then the artist has collaborated with names such as Kiki and has released on a number of impressive labels, including Noir Music, Culprit, Moodmusic and Suara.

Today we premiere ‘Formulate’, taken from Raxon’s impending Formulate EP, out September 2nd. The track begins with a sense of purpose, as mechanical percussion and tempting synths immerse the listener deeper and deeper. A looping groove maintaining techno influence continues to grow, shimmering with elegance. Perfect for peak time play.
