If your parents enrol you in music school at the age of six, there’s a strong chance you will pursue a career in a similar field. This is the case for Tobi Kramer, trained in several instruments from childhood and picking up his first set of decks at fifteen.
Finding his ‘break’ through a submission in a Stil Vor Talent remix competiton that caught the attention of a certain Oliver Koletzki, Tobi has went on to also release with prime labels like Great Stuff Records and Safe Music.
His latest work will see him return to Formatik Records, his three track Donnaiolo EP contains two originals, the first of which comes featuring Kaj Marx, as well as a remix from Daniel Rateuke.
We have an exclusive stream of track three – Vendetta, a completely solo effort from Kramer that throws you around like the Hulk if he was holding you by the ankles, it brings bouncy, up beat drum grooves, blunt hoover synths and quirky percussion and vocal hooks, chunky house all day long.
Donnaiolo is set for release on February 27th via Formatik Records.
