Premiere: Punky & The Brain – Care Of You

Punky & The Brain bring their ‘Plots Downfall’ EP to species, the new sister-imprint of Lisbon-based booking agency Pieces. The label will focus on releasing music from their current roster, which includes artists such as Shonky, Isaac Carter, Reflex Blue, and Traumer.

The duo’s production approach integrates guitars, vocoders, and elements of live performance, shaping a sound that moves between structured club formats and more expressive arrangements. The EP features four tracks: ‘Care Of You’, ‘Thrive Your Imagination’, ‘Outrageous’ and ‘Orange Suit’.

‘Care Of You’ introduces the EP with vocal-led textures and a defined rhythmic base, pairing a synth-driven low-end with steady, progressive-leaning drum patterns. We premiere it in full.
