Premiere: apaull – Gunfactor (Dina Summer Remix)

Dutch-Canadian DJ, producer, and label boss apaull returns to his Furnace Room Recordings with ‘Gunfactor’, a two-track release featuring the original alongside a remix from Berlin-based trio Dina Summer.

The project marks another collaboration between the artists after Dina Summer previously reworked apaull’s ‘Tight Dope’ for the label in 2023.

Furnace Room Recordings has primarily operated as a platform for apaull’s own productions, alongside remix contributions from artists including Junior Sanchez and Christian Smith.

Dina Summer, the electronic trio and live project formed by Kalipo and the Local Suicide duo, have released much of their catalogue through Local Suicide’s Iptamenos Discos imprint.

The group’s remix takes our focus, reshaping ‘Gunfactor’ through roaring synth lines, and tightly packed drum transients. The track moves through a hypnotic framework of electro-leaning club music, balancing dense rhythmic movement with a more atmospheric edge.
