UMEK’s 1605 release new techno compilation ‘Desiderati 4.11’

UMEK has hand-picked four new techno tracks for the eleventh instalment of his ‘Desiderati 4’ compilation series on his label, 1605.

This release includes individual tracks from Sam WOLFE, Kos:mo, and Phoenix Movement, plus a collaborative inclusion between Førehand and Rooney Nasr.

Anyone familiar with 1605 will already have a good idea of what to expect from the label’s releases, and this one is certainly no different, ticking all the right boxes.

Sam WOLFE is a 1605 favourite who gets things moving with his ‘Running From Yourself’ original, which blends explosive percussion with dark atmospherics and a spine-tingling breakdown.

Kos:mo, who’s fresh off a recent EP with Spektre’s Respekt imprint, brings his ‘Voices From Above’, a track with pitched vocals and an overall dark intensity.

Elsewhere Phoenix Movement focuses on a thought-provoking vocal sample and Førehand & Rooney Nasr bring euphoric synth work on ‘Never Know’.

Desiderati 4.11 is out now on 1605.
