Ultra Music Festival cancelled due to Coronavirus

The 2020 edition of Ultra Music’s flagship Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida has reportedly been delayed due to concerns surrounding the Coronavirus, or COVID-19 as it is officially known.

The decision came following a meeting between Ultra Music representitives and Miami officials on Wednesday morning, though according to the Miami Herald, no official statement is expected until Friday morning.

If the festival does not go ahead, it will be the first time in its 21-year history that Ultra Music does not hold an event in Miami, this years edition was to take place from March 20th through March 22nd, and was expected to attract up to 165,000 attendees.

The line up for the event is one of the biggest on the electronic music calendar, with headliners including Carl Cox, Gesaffelstein, Flume, Eric Prydz, Armin Van Buuren, Kygo, David Guetta, Loco Dice and DJ Snake.
