Pioneer are set to drop two new sets of headphones in June

news piece (pioneer edit)

Pioneer DJ are set to release two new headphones for studio monitoring.

The HRM-5 and HMR-6 are specifically designed to maintain crystal clear sound that is so necessary to the production process.

The HMR-6 will feature a 40mm HD driver that is capable of generating frequencies from 5 Hz to 40 Hz and features a maximum input level of 2000 mW that reduces distortion at higher volumes.

In addition to this the headphones will acquire bass reflex chambers to help improve the airflow alongside earth magnets and a two layer architecture that will result in precise lows and mids.

The HMR-5 will be the more affordable option of the two. The features are very similar with the exception of a smaller frequency response of 5Hz to 30kHz and a reduced maximum input level of 1700 mW.

Both sets will be available for purchase in June. Watch the promotional video for the new releases from Pioneer DJ below.
