Traktor Kontrol S8 Part 3: Remix Decks and Grids
In the third and final part of their new tutorial series, Point Blank DJ instructor Liam Jones aka Cera Alba (Hot Creations, Moon Harbour, MadTech) breaks down one of the most exciting feature of NI’s new flagship Traktor controller: the S8. Remix Decks allow users to either pre-prepare loops, one-shots and samples to trigger in their sets or to sample and loop on the fly.
It’s a concept more and more DJs are adopting and with the S8, it’s easier and more flexible than ever. If you missed the first two parts of PB’s series, you can watch them here and make sure you check out part three below for some performance inspiration.
