Tor remixes Fejká’s ‘Shades Of You’
German music producer Fejká makes a welcomed return to Ki Records for the release of a pretty vigorous remix pack of his recently released ‘Hireath’ EP.
His tracks have previously come via labels like Mesh, Loci Records, and Youth and Progress Recordings – but it’s Ki Records who have been responsible for most of his work.
The new project brings 8 bespoke tracks to life, with fresh edits coming from producers such as Tim Engelhardt, Niklas Paschburg, and AFFKT, though it’s the Tor remix which has managed to grab our attention.
Remixing Fejká’s ‘Shape Of You’ original, the Vancouver-based Tor combines the fluid vocal work of Henry Green with carefully polished drum breaks and deeply rooted basslines, for one of our favourite tracks of summer 2023.
