The top 8 moments of 2015
2015 was filled with happy, sad, funny and ridiculous moments, with DJs, producers and fans stirring the pot on social media, arguments were common and often unfiltered.
But the year wasn’t all doom and gloom, with many celebrations and achievements allowing the most talented among us the opportunity to seek recognition for their hard work.
We list our 8 picks for top moments of the past twelve months, with some impressive, and some not-so-much.
8. Dixon was crowned #1 DJ in the world by Resident Advisor, for a third time.
German DJ and Innervisions label boss Dixon became the first DJ to receive the #1 spot on Resident Advisors Top 100 DJ Poll – three years in a row.
Having played in every city from Paris and Detroit to Amsterdam and Rio De Janeiro in 2015, we cannot think of a more fitting man to take the crown, can he make it 4 in a row this year?
Dixon also saw his label celebrate it’s 10th anniversary and was one of five DJs to deliver an RA.500 mix.
