Stiv Hey drops new techno EP on Loose Records with a remix from Spektre

Loose Recordings has an impressive back catalogue featuring artists such as Mladen Tomic, The YellowHeads and Luigi Madonna, who in recent years have been at the forefront of the modern techno sound.

Based in Italy where many dancefloors have a preference for darker sounds, the label’s latest release is from Stiv Hey, who provides two up-tempo cuts with arpeggiated melodies.

On remix duty is Spektre, who have been on top form lately following appearances on labels ranging from Drumcode to Tronic.

Slightly melodic and full of fire, both of Stiv Hey’s original works have proven popular with a number of DJ’s, including supporters such as Vinicius Honorio, Pan-Pot and Cristian Varela.

People who are fans of Spektre will not be surprised to hear that they have opted for a hard remix option, which is centred around a heavy kick drum that drives their aggressive sounding rework.

Overall this three track EP is aimed directly at the dancefloor and can be purchased from HERE.
