London’s Abbey Road Studios has announced Abbey Road After Hours, the first rave to take place in the venue’s historic Studio One. The event will be held on February 21st from 8pm until 1am in partnership with Belgian sibling duo Soulwax.
Access for 300 guests will be free via public ballot, with entries accepted through a dedicated hotline at 07886072699.
Soulwax will curate the evening, which includes DJ sets from their alter ego 2manydjs and additional guests, who are yet to be announced.
The event marks the first major outing of their DEEWEE Soundsystem, a speaker array based on the system from New York’s Paradise Garage that the brothers acquired for their DEEWEE series.
On the day before the event, Soulwax will record new music with their full band in Abbey Road’s Studio Two, utilizing the studio’s vintage equipment and spaces. The newly created tracks will be cut directly to vinyl and played during the event in Studio One.
