Skepta’s much anticipated album has finally dropped and is available to stream via Spotify and Apple Music.

The Tottenham bred artist launched Konnichiwa in Tokyo last night, collaborating with Boiler Room to present a live stream that featured Japanese grime emcees and producers.

The LP is made up of 12 tracks and includes features from A$AP Mob’s Young L.O.R.D, the BBK mandem, the father of grime Wiley and arguably the hottest new property in grime, Novelist. Konnichiwa also features an intriguing collaboration with Pharrell Williams.

Five years have passed since Skepta last dropped an album. Friends have died and money has been made, and all of this is described in typical aggressive and precise fashion throughout the album.

Grime has become a force to be reckoned with, not only within the music industry, but through the world as it continues to shape the political culture that surrounds us today. It’s popularity doesn’t seem to be faltering either.

You can purchase Skepta’s ‘Konnichiwa’ via iTunes.
