4. Tangerine Dream – Love On A Real Train (Virgin, 1984)
This just gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. When I was younger I had absolutely no understanding for ambient music though I remember that chill out rooms in the 90’s were quite common in some clubs and I did enjoy chill out music for smoking a joint.
But the real thing like Tangerine Dream (even though they are more known for Kraut Rock), I could not enjoy until today.
Not long ago I was watching the TV series Mr. Robot and Love On A Real Train by Tangerine Dream was playing in the back. I just got instantly hooked.
Don’t get confused by the Live Version (even though its stunning) – you should just buy the original – couldnt find it in the Net.
