UK house and techno output Turquoise Blue recruit future sensation and fellow Brit Rhymos for what seems to be the first player on their TQRDIG digital only series. Southampton born Aaron Binstead; better known to most as Rhymos has caused ripples in the warping sea of electronic music.

Releases on Overall, Whistleblower and Rumours among others have saw him edged into the spotlight on a number of occasions. A feat’ he has built upon, delivering stellar production each time around.

His Coco Beware EP for Turquoise Blue brings a massive four originals; Coco Beware, Hoopscotch, Mummas Cumquat and Whistleblower. With us hosting an exclusive full stream of the latter.

Whistleblower – perhaps titled so due to his relationship with Alan Fitzpaticks Whistleblower Records – delivers a rhythmic journey of tech percussion and wobbly dub stabs. It’s ability to trap you in it’s grasp gets your head moving from start to finish.

It’s open break in the middle gives it a perfect appeal to either the dance floor or the headphones. Bringing enough oomph to impact a main room, but carrying just a pinch of equally desirable sonic integrity that it can easily be enjoyed as a background track.

Get ‘Rhymos – Coco Beware EP’ from July 13th on Turquoise Blue.
