Purple Kaiser is the new alias of Kaiser Souzai, who is well known within the techno genre for his label Ballroom Black – in addition to his own tracks.
Sister label to Ballroom Black is Ballroom Purple, which is aimed at showcasing a deeper and more melodic style of electronic music that matches the Purple Kaiser sound. The label has already brought us a number of releases from artists such as The Scumfrog, Darragh Casey and Max Metrix.
Next up from the Ballroom team is an album sampler from Purple Kaiser that features two original tracks taken for his forthcoming album release that is planned for early 2021.
Silence and Seen The Lights are both in a melodic style that will appeal to fans of progressive house. There are three alternative versions of the track Silence that features the vocals of ShyBoy alongside instrumental and radio edits.
Silence seems the stronger of the two tracks with its emotive vocals and dramatic backing track, but Seen The Lights is equally epic with powerful synth melodies that someone like John Digweed might be a fan of.
