Premiere: youANDme ft. Black Soda – Believe (Dub)

Berlin-based producer youANDme returns to Compost for the first time since releasing a remix for Ogris Debris way back in 2009, this time bringing a generous 8-track EP to the German imprint.

‘Believe’ brings an original mix alongside 7 different edits, and we have the pleasure of premiering his ‘Dub’ version exclusively in full. Among the other versions are remixes from Jackson Brainwave, Tal Fussman, and Moodorama.

The ‘Dub’ edit bends metallic synth licks around solid percussive knocks and strong bass tones, while the lyrics of Namibian vocalist Black Soda rounds out the production.

Previous releases from youANDme have seen him on record labels like Rhythm Cult and Rotary Cocktail Recordings – while Compost’s catalogue boasts appearances from Fred Everything, Mr Raoul K, and Roman Flügel.
