Premiere: Tom Luka – Hustle Ft. Gemma Jayne

Brighton’s Horizon Recordings announce a fresh three track player from label owner Tom Luka, with top line duties from Gemma Jayne. Previous players include listings from Shoot The Ghost, Cellardore and Luvless (who’s Paleface remix has racked up over 35,000 players).

Titled Dead or Alive?, Colour and Hustle, the tracks come together in usual Tom Luka fashion. Wide basslines, heavy drums and a flurry of techy edge that helps each track bring a sense of warmth to the overall aesthetic.

We have an exclusive first listen of Hustle, Tom’s collaboration with vocal talent Gemma Jayne. Coming in at just under the seven minute mark, we get a nice progression up to two minutes in. The appearance of smooth chord stabs and an intense push of percussion keep this one club ready, but also a somewhat laid back affair.
