The crunchy bite of London’s Ross From Friends’ latest is quite well measured. The lightness of the drums and crisp highs display a neat level of detail in the mix. We love the raw atmospheric feeling this one has, the unique percussion, the quirky vocal samples and guitars that lay a well made bed of sonic warmth for everything around it. The track as a whole brings a nice dose of something different, the lo-fi feel and relaxing tone delivers an experience that other styles might struggle with. Packaged alongside Ridley Schöttt and .biz, it makes up the Alex Brown EP. Coming via Breaker Breaker Records 26th February.
