Berlin’s Redlight Music have been pushing innovative underground vibes for a number of years on both digital and vinyl, bridging the gap between the old and the new. Their latest player, set for release on June 3rd is a ‘fresh’ five tracker from the dub minded Plastikkid.
Having been around since his interest in electronic music peaked, Plastikkid has appeared on the RLM roster several times in the past half decade, bringing a number of club heavy features.
His Fresh Chords EP brings three originals titled Fresh Chords, Plastik House and U & Me, as well as two nice edits from The Liquid Mirror. Our pick from the five is the Fresh Chords original, a well sliced techno/house hybrid that brings heavy dub inspired clubbiness, while infusing that with a crisp tech aesthetic.
