Premiere: Pagano - Transfiguration

Italian and Spanish forces unite as London-based DJ and producer Pagano makes a return to Christian Smith’s consistently impressive Tronic imprint.

A product of Italy’s deeply rooted techno culture, Pagano has released music with labels such as Toolroom Records and Unity Records in the past.

Anyone familiar with techno music will be well aware of Tronic’s previous work, though for those out of the loop, they have dropped tracks from Truncate, Drunken Kong, Hannes Bieger and Filterheadz in the past three months alone.

Pagano’s return finds him bring a trio of carefully selected club cuts to the label, with his Transfiguration and Triskelion originals being packaged alongside a remix from Eric Sneo.

We host a premiere for the opening title track, Transfiguration, a roughed up rolling techno stomper that combines hammering kick drums with airy synth melodies and body shakin’ bass frequencies.

Pagano’s Transfiguration EP drops February 8th on Tronic.
