Premiere: Neferiel ‘Return To Forever’

Rating: 9.0

Swiss producer Neferiel comes to our feeds with an energetic tech anthem in Return To Forever. Appearing on German imprint Beans & Bacon for release number eight the EP brings two original cuts in Return To Forever and Algoritma; we premiere the title track.

Return To Forever brings cuddling basslines, laid back percussion and hypnotic melodies that folds into a stripped back mix of tech house and ambient techno. The latter half is met with a metallic drone like roar; much like what one could expect to hear on Innervisions or Boso.

On the b-side we see Algoritma, a similar tune to Return To Forever but bringing a deeper sound to the table, it’s pitching moans play nicely off the sparse drums and esoteric melody. Watch this one closely as we rate it highly.
