Premiere: Monkey Lounge ft. Abi Hardiman – Forlorn

Much like Niseko Sunrise, Monkey Lounge and Abi Hardiman’s Forlorn overflows with emotion. While featuring a much deeper influence than the previous premiere, it still has that lo-fi, pure feel that Liston managed to include so well. The work from Abi Hardiman is flawless, and the vocal adds a soft layer to the already gentle instrumental. The chords and audio fx remind us much of a Burial production, but with the techno feel in the climax, it has more than enough character for Monkey Lounge to call his own. Out 9th February via Chris Coco Music
