Chicago born, Australia based, James Curd is on top of his game right now and looking to continue form, he makes a welcomed return to Shir Khan’s Berlin-based Exploited Recordings for an impressive outing that combines original work with remixes.
Alongside the I’m A Wheel and Fade Away original mixes, the five-long tracklist is completed by edits from Sandboards and Phenomenal Handclap Band. We run a premiere for the PHB remix.
Taking the bouncy energy of I’m A Wheel, the Brooklyn duo transform the title track into a harmonising and stern dancefloor thumper. Warming sound design and catchy grooves stand tall beside the meaty drum samples and fun percussion.
