The Berlin based English duo of Hume join the Monologues Records family with their Edmund project. Though new to the scene the partnership showcase their wonderfully emotive sense of sound through ambient melancholy and progressive house. Edmund consists of three tracks, two originals and a remix from London producer Ben Gomori.

Gomori has racked up releases on the likes of Anjunadeep and Nurvous whilst also curating a weekly Turned On podcast. It was Gomori who initially began the venture that would evolve into Monologues Records. The passion project invites artists to craft mixes using only their own work. In 2014 it evolved further into an imprint and now pushes the best in underground house and techno.

The label heads Elevated Remix of Hume’s ‘5th Floor’ is a stroll down a marimba formed path. The tropical sounds shimmer and shine in the warm atmosphere that Gomori has created. Captivating, deep noise progressively invites the listener closer into a delicate paradise.

Edmund comes out on Monologues Records on January 30th.
