Premiere: Gary Beck – Disgraced Loon

Rating: 8.5

An infinitely important piece of Glasgow’s techno history, BEK Audio bossman Gary Beck has brought his sound to genre-leading imprints like Drumcode, Soma and We Are The Brave.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of BEK Audio, and Gary has went all out arranging a generous two-part compilation album in celebration of the milestone.

Part 1 arrived back in August, with tracks from DJ Rush, Insolate, Slam, Mark Broom and Sosak, while the impending Part 2 offers exclusives from Alan Fitzpatrick, JX-216, PTTRN, Petter B and the label boss himself.

Premiering Gary Beck – Disgraced Loon from the second part of the album, we’re treated to a heavy techno production that displays crunching drum beats, a flood of piercing hihats and energising vocal chops.

BEK Audio 10 Years Part 2 will drop September 9th on BEK Audio.
