Premiere: Ezekiel Rhodes ‘Thermal’

London based, Australian born Ezekiel Rhodes has made quite the impression. Despite launching the project merely one year ago, Rene Brigman left his mark with the self released The Violator EP.

Now teaming with the renown Tessier Ashpool imprint for the seven edition in their Research & Development series, Ezekiel Rhodes brings us the concrete mix of heavy techno and chunky electro that is Seventh Substance.

Coming as four cuts in total, we premiere track two on the listing; Thermal. It’s no holds barred approach to crunchy drums grooves and percussive rhythms brings a proper weighty vibe of back to basics industrial flavours.

If dark vocal chops, dense reverbs and expertly mixed percussion is your thing, Thermal might just tick all the boxes. It continues a strong run of form for both artist and label, an accolade we hope to see last.
