The debut player for TRICKS imprint comes from fresh faced Cassini. Titled Counting Changes EP the player brings Counting Changes and Me U In Mono originals alongside strongly contrasting remixes from Wildkats & Tboy and Death On The Balcony.

We premiere the latter mentioned, a straight up vibey remix from Death On The Balcony for Me U In Mono. Taking the filth riddled aesthetic of the original and transforming it into a gentle mix of careful melodies and relaxing piano chords.

Though coming across as a light bed of synths and drum hits, his edit also brings a generous serving of bass heavy undertones, with an edgy resonance on the bassline and layered drum samples coming in as the track progresses.

It’s intelligent dance music, pushing a high foundation of harmonies but also keeping it fresh and club ready. A good example of how to blend oldschool bass rhythms with the clean cut transients from current day.
