Premiere: Benjamin Di Bora – Mind Body Connection
UMEK’s renowned 1605 imprint marks the 10th instalment of its ‘Desiderati’ various artists series this week, which has previously featured music from names like The Reactivitz, AKKI, Loco & Jam, and Teenage Mutants.
‘Desiderati 4.10’ packages together original productions from Danny Avila, Heerhorst, Novem Vivit, and Benjamin Di Bora, the latter of which we have the pleasure of premiering in full.
‘Mind Body Connection’ is the title of Benjamin Di Bora’s contribution, a fierce and unrelenting techno anthem which combines massive kick drums and filtered basslines with hypnotic vocal samples and refined synth sounds.
The Austrian-born DJ & producer has worked with labels such as Reload Records in the past, though 1605 is certainly the most impressive addition to his musical catalogue so far.
Desiderati 4.10 is out now on 1605.
