Premiere: Argia & Jepe – Salitre
Spain and Portugal unite as two of Europe’s most exciting emerging production talents, Argia and Jepe, team up for their latest studio release, ‘Salitre’.
‘Salitre’ comes as part of a four track EP which makes up part one of Selador’s 10th anniversary series, with the other three inclusions bringing work from the likes of Robert Owens, Quivver, Oliver Giacomotto, and Anthony Pappa.
The Selador imprint, which is ran by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry, has seen outings from Just Her, Robert Babicz, and Hannes Bieger quite recently, and is an excellent addition to the catalogues of both Argia and Jepe.
We premiere ‘Salitre’ in full, a deep and rhythmic affair that’s built from punchy drum hits and a bunch of different synth sounds, including a generous amount of heavily filtered stabs and harmonising pad work.
